4-cross finals, Champery

Just before the World cup finals of 4-cross were about to start, big clouds and thunder was rolling in. It rained hard for a while and the track was looking like a big slippery mud-pole. I was watching the first round of the guy's and they were struggling down the course, they sometime looked like a flipper ball. I was in the Semi final with Jill and 2 other girls. My gate was good and I was in 2nd position behind Jill. I made it safely trough the rock section and I was still close to Jill and all of a sudden my back wheel slide away and I had to clip out....I kept on drifting and I was unable to do the next jump!! I got passed there and was out!!!! Damn that was sh*t. My consolation final went good and I won that one for 5th place. Jill Kintner won the women's 4-cross race and Brian Lopes the men.

I hope the weather will be a better tomorrow for the DH. This DH course is super steep. People were telling me it is already challenging in the dry conditions!
