Some time off!!

I know I've been a bit slow going on the updates, but I had a great time off the bike and a nice Holiday! I stayed over in the US after Interbike, visit friends, rode my bike when I felt like it and supported my Dutch BMX friends at the World Cup Supercross finals in Chula Vista. I also got the opportunity to do co-commentating for the American Sports Channel Universal! That was a great experience for me, doing the commentating for a show like that was slightly different than doing it live on the internet. Lots of commercial breaks, no joking around and speaking loud and clear! After the World Cup BMX we dropped of the national team at the airport and Bas and me stayed
for a short holiday. We spent a couple of days in Las Vegas and in Huntington Beach. I always wanted to try and learn how to surf, so we got ourself surf lessons and it was great fun! I was able to stand on the board only a couple of times, but at least I was standing up :) We're back home now and it is almost time to get ready for the 2012 season! This weekend I got one more bike show in Holland that I will be attending at, before I get back to training full time!
