I was nominated for the Women's sport awards of 2011. The election was from the area where I live. This year there were 40 athletes that where honored for there victory's in there sport. It was a great night and I was very exited when the pulled out my name out of the envelope. Pretty stoked with the title " sports women of 2011"!!

Happy new year to all of you!
Time flies by at the moment. It's only 2 more months before I have my first Cross Country race of the season. I am proud to announce that I've signed for another year with the Milka - Superior racing team from Bart Brentjens. The biggest change for next season will be that we will be riding on Superior bikes. A young company out of the Chec Republic. www.superior.cz Next to racing the 4X Pro Tour I will also be focusing on the UCI World Cup Eliminator sprint races. After such a great 2011 season with lots of great moments and a great team I am looking forward to 2012 with new challenges and goals.

What a year it has been, 2011 has just been amazing. Looking back on this year and season gives me a great feeling. A little girls dream came true when I won the World Championships in Champery, Switzerland. As always I am looking for new challenges and to set new goals for my self. Next to racing the 4-cross Pro Tour next season I will also be focusing on the UCI World Cup Eliminator races. I'm looking forward to 2012, new goals, new challenges and hopefully more victories! I wish everybody a healthy a great 2012. Thanks for supporting me!!

My bags are packed and I am ready to fly back home. Our training camp was great over here in California, made lots of training hours on the bike and in the gym. Looking forward to go home now and spend Christmas with the family and chill out for a week. I want to wish everyone happy holiday's.... Enjoy!!!

It was time to leave cold and rainy Holland for some California sunshine! Like almost every winter I decided to join the National bmx team for there training camp. This year the trip goes to California USA, a perfect area for some road, xc and bmx training. So far the trip has been a blast, great weather and some solid training. It's nice to get some solid training in and get ready for a new season with new challenges! Sorry for the lack of updates lately but next to training I also started a new study and I am still working on some sponsoring stuff for next season.
