Here a quick not out of Italy, I had a great night racing last night. After qualifying first I also managed to take home the win! The overall points are still really close, but with this win I am stretching my lead a little bit. I'll post a press release and some pictures soon. Don't forget to watch www.freecaster.tv for the 4-cross replay and today's Downhill race with Rob Warner and me in the booth commentating!

It was nice to have some weekends of... Well of, still every weekend there was something going on. Moto GP, riding on the back of a Ducati, Bensink Jam, big dirtbike festival and one weekend at home. I am so looking forward to this weekends race in Val di Sole, Italy. It has been 2 years since I've been there and I remember that the track is great. Also this weekend there is the World Championships BMX in South Africa... Follow the biggest races of the year on Freecaster.tv with this Saturday afternoon the World Champs BMX and in the evening the World cup 4-cross out of Italy!

Time flies...

Wow, another week flew by again! As everybody probably knows, Holland lost against Spain. It looked like I was watching something more like rugby then soccer... damn what a tough match. I had a great week of riding, went to Willingen for a day with Joost and just ridden as much as I could. On Friday I went to the raddest festival of Holland the "Zwarte Cross" (means: Black Cross) It's right in my backyard and they had over 148.000 people in the weekend. The festival is all about fun, beer, dirtbikes and music. This year the Dirtmasters were performing a show as well. They were pulling of some sick stunts on mountainbikes, dirtbikes, quads and a snow scooter. Click on the thumbnail to get an small impression of the festival.... It makes me proud of the region that I come from :)

Go Holland!!

This sunday is going to be a big day for us dutchies. Holland has to play against spain in the World Cup soccer final. Soccer is the number #1 sport in Holland and at the moment the country is just upside down because we made the finals.... Cars, houses, streets, clothing, you name it and it is all turned into the color Orange at the moment!! I love the vibe and to see how passionate or little country is about this sport. Other than that not a whole lot happening this weekend. I have a weekend off :) and trying to get some decent training in before the World Cup in Val di Sole, Italy in 2 weeks.
