For the last couple of years I've been racing with e*thirteen chainguides and also this coming season I will be riding with their products. It's great to see how the step it up every year and develop new chainguides that are stronger and lighter then the year before. New for this season is the LS1+, its from aluminum and lighter and stronger then anything else out there. Check out www.e13components.com for more information.

European Championships is ON!!

Just read the great news that there will be an European Championships 4-cross in 2010. It supposed to be in Wilthen, Germany but due financial problems it was not possible for them to organize it and it got cancelled a month ago. Bike park Willingen has stepped it up and will organize the Europeans on 11-13 of June in Germany! Willingen has held a World Cup 4-cross in 2005 and has a great track. The Europeans will be held at the same weekend as the Bike Festival, so that means Big Crowd! Normally they get 30.000 visitors.... Great news!

Riding, riding and some more riding

First Downhill runs of the year are in the books.... I can tell you one thing, these runs were by far from smooth. I felt like a ping pong ball down the hill and a passenger on my bike :) The track was very rough and worn out compared to last year. The shuttle road up to the top of the hill was almost as challenging as going down the hill, we even had to push the van up in some of the sections... Good times :) I got blisters in my hands from all the riding last week, it was an intense training week but so far training is going well and I am enjoying my time here in the South of France.
