Recharging

After 4 weekends of straight racing and a lot of traveling I took a break this weekend. Recharge the battery and get ready for the first World Series of the season next week in Italy. It's nice to be home for a week, spend some time with the family, get some training in and rest up. Next week all the big names will be at the first Enduro World Series, I get to race against Anne Caroline Chausson and Tracy Moseley again. It's been a long time since I raced against them, but I am ready for that challenge! Also in the men's field there are big names racing: Nicolas Vouilloz, Steve Peat, Greg Minnaar and Jared Graves are all going to give Enduro a shot! I'll try to give you some updates during next weeks event, keep an eye out on:

Specialized HQ visit

Just before Sea Otter the whole Specialized Racing team came together in Morgan Hill Califorinia where the Specialized Head Quarter is located. It was great to meet everyone from the team and all the people that work at Specialized. That company is so passioned about riding bike, it is absolutely amazing! Good thing we share that same passion :) At the office we got the full tour, learned how they develop and test the products, got some media training, photoshoots and of course joined the "lunch ride"
This year's team has some big names on it, Aaron Gwin, Olympic gold medalist Jaroslav Kulhavy, World Champ Christoph Sauser, Darren Berrecloth and many more. It's a big honor to be part of all these amazing and talented riders and I am looking forward to this season riding with the big 'S' on my jersey!
